The bulbs of this variety of garlic are compact, silvery-white with creamy flesh. Agrifound White is susceptible to purple blotch and stemphylium blight which are common in the northern regions. The yield of this variety is around 130 – 140 q/ha.

AGRIFOUND PARVATI
This garlic variety was developed in 1992 by selecting a exotic collection from the Hongkong market. The variety Agrifound Parvati is long day and therefore suitable for growing in the medium and high hills of the Northern States. The bulbs are bigger and creamy white with a pink tint.

YAMUNA SAFED (G-1)
Yamuna Safed garlic variety was developed by mass selection from a local collection sourced from the Delhi market (Azadpur). The bulbs of this variety are compact, with silvery-white skin and creamy flesh. The cloves are sickle-like and 25-30 in number. This variety is tolerant to insect pests and diseases like a purple blotch, stemphylium blight and onion thrips.

YAMUNA SAFED-2 (G-50)
Yamuna Safed-2 garlic was developed by mass breeding from a local collection from the Karnal region of Haryana. The bulbs of this variety are compact and appealing with a creamy white flesh. The average yield of this variety varies from 150 to 200 q/ha. This variety is recommended for Northern India.

YAMUNA SAFED-3 (G-282)
Yamuna Safed-3 has prospered in the northern parts as well as in the central parts of India. This variety was developed using a mass breeding technique from a local collection obtained from Dindigul in 1990. Its leaves are usually wider than the other varieties. The bulbs of this variety are cream white and bigger in size.

YAMUNA SAFED-4 (G-323)
Yamuna Safed-4 was developed using the mass selection technique of a local collection obtained from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. The bulbs of this variety are compact white, eye-catching and creamy. The variety matures approximately 165-175 days. Its average yield is about 200-250 q/ha.

PORCELAIN GARLIC
The Porcelain Garlic is classic and pearly white garlic in colour with a straight neck. This variety holds four or five uniform cloves. The neck is mostly the remains of the bulb shoots, a snaky entanglement known as “scape” which can be used in the kitchen. The Porcelain garlic is quite eye-catching and has a simple and strong taste.

ROCAMBOLE GARLIC
